Deepen your love for Charlotte.
It’s 9:30am CST. It’s the weekend. There is coffee. Life is awesome.
Want to deepen your love for Charlotte? Here’s two ways.
Do you wonder how key decisions have influenced the city’s growth & development? How race & ethnicity have played a role in these decisions? How these decisions are impacting our present and our future? Take the Charlotte in Black and White … and More bus tour run by the Community Building Initiative (CBI) this month. Details can be found here. I’ll see you there.
Are you interested innovation, food, health & economic mobility? Queen City Forward is hosting the ThinkPlenty Weekend on Sept 18-19. This year, the target problem is food access in Charlotte and improving the systems and processes that protect our most vulnerable citizens from hunger. Get involved. Details can be found here.
Now let’s get to it.

Have you met these awesome people?
This week we featured 3 awesome people introduced by other people. First up was Caleb Clark, the brains/creative mind/wizard of Oz behind Enemy to fashion. Introduction by Corri Smith. Meet him.
Chris Sirico introduced Ramya Mahalingam, one of the founder of CLT Storytellers and to quote Chris she’s “Funny, cheeky, fearless—she’s an innovator, not by choice, but by definition.” Meet her.
Last for the week we had a birthday girl introduction. Meet Kelsey Lee, introduced by Kayla Dugger. She believes everyone is worthy of her time, a heart-to-heart, and respect.
Do you know someone awesome and want to introduce them to all of We Love Charlotte? Let’s make it happen. I’ve laid out the instructions and guidelines here for you to make your own intro.
