Amber Donoghue

Hi! Meet Amber. Supportive people like her are the reason I keep doing what I’m doing. We met because of #WeLoveCLT. She’s been one of its biggest advocates. Ask her about Festevo and making music festivals a cleaner, more enjoyable experience. I asked her five questions. Kevin who I intro’d you to last Friday asked her one.

What motivates you?

My peers. I love when they are successful. Their success makes we want to do bigger and better things. It’s true. Also finding any way possible to support them. It’s incredibly important to support those around you.

What advice would you give yourself 10 years ago?

Definitely do more and don’t be afraid to take chances. I spent a lot of time being afraid to screw up in turn screwing up a lot because of that.

How do you think people would describe you?

A mess.

What is your greatest indulgence?

Music festivals. I love them and it’s the worst. I spend way too much money, too much money. Oh man do I spend too much money on music festivals.

What is your least favorite trait about yourself?

Being a mess. {laughs} At times I just feel really all over the place and wish I could fix that.

If you could commit any crime if it was legal what would it be?

Oh damn. Can I get back to you on this? No? Well I feel like I would really like to steal a rad piece of art. Why not? Art is expensive. You know what? I’d love to steal an original pressing of the White Album. That’s it! Boom. That is art.
