Just 7 months ago.
It’s 5:03am. It’s the weekend. There is coffee. Life is good.
Hi friends,
I just realized as I’m writing this email that so many of y’all probably have never heard or experienced where #weloveclt started. It was a crazy, exhausting and awesome day. Exactly 7 months ago on January 15th two little babies were born. My daughter Olivia and the #weloveclt speaker series. Blair Primis kicked the whole thing off by talking about being passionate and pushing the line. If you haven’t heard it go here. This one line has stuck me ever since.
“I am a strong believer that it’s really difficult to step over the line if you spend your career pushing the line back.”
How can we all push the line just a little further? Something to think about. Now let’s get to it.

Did you miss Sherrell’s talk?
Don’t worry! The audio went live just a couple days ago. Listen to Sherrell talk The battles we face at the crossroads of conformity and the pursuit of what matters humanizes our purpose right here.
Have you met or supported?
The “have you met?” for the week are Tony Santoro, owner of Enderly Coffee. He’s leveraging his small business to enact change in the community. Next is Scott Queen of The Mint Museum. He’s doing awesome things to increase engagement in the arts.
Our feature Charlotte non-profit of the week is Wendy Shanahan of Beards Because. She’s doing awesome things to bring people together. Check out Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. It’s coming up very soon!
Do you know someone awesome and want to introduce them to all of We Love Charlotte? Let’s make it happen. I’ve laid out the instructions and guidelines here for you to make your own intro.
