Take the challenge.
It’s 6:09am. It’s Sunday. I’m on dad duty. Life is awesome.
Hi friends,
Do you have an idea that could make Charlotte more successful? The Knight Cities Challenge is looking for innovators that have ideas focused around Talent, Opportunity or Engagement. If chosen you will be given a potentially large grant from a pool of 5 million dollars to make your idea happen. I believe you can submit your ideas starting Oct 1. You have nothing to lose. Make it happen. Learn more here.
For those that missed Alyssa’s talk on Sept 17th the full audio is now available. You can listen to it here or subscribe to WeLoveCLT on iTunes. A huge thanks to Andy Goh for producing the audio.
Now let’s get to it.

Another week. Four more awesome people.
My hope is that when you read these brief introductions that you’re 100% open to meeting someone new. They’re built as conversation starters so read on, say hi, give them a follow or meet IRL. Here they are.
Meet David Jessup of Digi-Bridge, Stefanie Haviv, a local social media guru and bartender at Custom Shop, Brandon Finch, the face behind #ExploreCLT and Vanessa Smith a local chef and storyteller. They are all awesome. Meet them.
Do you know someone awesome and want to introduce them to all of We Love Charlotte? Let’s make it happen. I’ve laid out the instructions and guidelines here for you to make your own intro.

The Wrap Up
Jennie is out of town so I’m on full-time dad duty. The plan was to run the rail trail for the first time but it was pouring so I hit up Lunas Living Kitchen and then stopped by Lenny Boy with friends for the sweet potato pie kombucha release. Solid Saturday.
That’s it. Go be awesome.
