Have you met Caleb Clark?

#PositiveVibesOnly.

Meet Caleb Clark, creative mastermind/Wizard of Oz behind the curtain of international (but CLT-based) brand Enemy to Fashion. He’s someone who is always repping #positivevibesonly and consistently looking to create out-of-the-box designs, campaigns and movements.

What is Enemy to Fashion?

Existing somewhere between party crash and grid crash, Enemy to Fashion is engineered to showcase disruption. We are mystic time travelers who choose to travel to today, everyday. This moment. Because we have seen the future: and while we aren’t at liberty to discuss it in detail: today is the most important day of your life. We’re here to help get you ready for it. And though, for obvious reasons, we can’t tell you exactly what it is, trust us: you need our help. Our products have been custom programmed to systematically dissimulate you from the illusion of modernity. We design camouflage for a world not yet seen through the eyes of non-believers. So don’t get distracted, be the distraction. Your future/ past selves will thank you for it.

On September 2nd, Caleb/ETF launched a super special campaign with Komen Charlotte, starring cancer survivors, family members, volunteers and staff. The #SurvivorShades come only in pink, with 50% of proceeds donated back to Komen.

I asked him several questions. His answers are below his picture.

What are you most passionate about?

At the ripe age of 35 earth years I still don’t know, I’d love to say fashion or something like that but honestly it’s not the truth. I am fascinated by people that are super passionate about one thing I have never felt that way about something, the closest thing is the pure love I have for my 3 alien offspring.

What frustrates you?

Humans

What’s one thing you’d like to see happen in Charlotte in the next 5-10 years?

I never think that far ahead but I am excited to see the light rail come into NoDa – that will personally impact my life in a great way . Love where our city is going culturally can’t wait to see how it looks over the next decade.

What does your perfect day look like?

Isolation

What’s your go to hang out spot in Charlotte?

When I’m not at my house or studio, I always keep it #PositiveVibesOnly with my friends at @thedailypress – I also love Earls grocery and @FutoButaRamen also.

Who do yo look up to and why?

I’ll get back to you on that, after I’m done looking forward.

If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be and why?

I’m originally from California and spend time all over the world but honestly I choose to live and raise my kids in Charlotte. Love it here. If you aren’t doing big things here you aren’t going to do them anywhere else.

How do you yourself keep it #positivevibesonly?

I struggle with this just like everyone else… but my 3 little aliens truly make me happy… as well as yoga, kombucha, sex, crystals, essential oils, magick and burrata cheese.
